Over the weekend, hololive EN generation 1 members Ninomae Ina’nis and Takanashi Kiara both reached over 1 million subscribers on their respective YouTube channels. The tentacle human got the milestone of Takos on May 27, while the re-born phoenix gained her 1 millionth KFP employee on May 30. With these two hitting the momentous milestone, every single member of the English hololive group has now reached over 1 million subs, with Gawr Gura already nearing 3 million.

The two celebrated the occasion in their own ways, with Ina having a small 2-hour intimate stream and Kiara going for a 12-hour live stream where she played games, read chat, and sang karaoke.

I don’t think anyone would have imagined back in September last year when the group debuted that they would all be at 1 million subscribers well before their anniversary. Not only have they risen to the top of the VTuber charts, but they’ve also overtaken a majority of their Japanese senpai!
