Nippon Columbia has announced that voice actress Aya Uchida (Kotori Minami in Love Live!)’s fifth single “Pale Blue” is set to be released on June 2, 2021. It will have been her first solo single in 15 months since her previous fourth single “Reverb.”

“Pale Blue” is now used as the ED theme for the TV anime Let’s Make a Mug Too. The anime’s story focuses on high school girls at the pottery club, so her new artist photo and two-version CD jacket photos feature her and a giant mug. She says on Twitter, “In the perfect world of pale blue, there are many kinds of pale blue, and even though they are in the same color, they look different depending on how the light hits them… They are beautiful photos that links to the lyrics that I love! The big mug is also my favorite.”

The TV anime Let’s Make a Mug Too premiered in Japan on April 3, 2021, and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
