A homeless encampment established on an East Village sidewalk — complete with furniture — was finally broken up by the city Saturday, video shows.

The camping vagrants — who’d dragged a desk, a large headboard, a mattress and sundry other furniture under scaffolding on Second Avenue, between East Seventh and East Eighth streets — didn’t interfere as city Sanitation Department workers pulled up to start clearing the area out.

One even appeared to help the workers load the mattress into the back of a garbage truck.

Mayor Bill de Blasio claimed Wednesday the city would do “whatever it takes” to clear out encampments “right away” — but residents said the East Village spot had been there at least a few weeks.

“There was one woman who was making pee-pee and caca by the bus stop. It was very dirty and disgusting. Nobody wanted to use the bus stop,” one neighborhood resident told The Post.
