“NCIS: Michael Weatherly Teases a Possible Tony & Ziva Reunion on CBS in 2023”

NCIS TV show on CBS: (canceled or renewed?)

NCIS viewers may soon see Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) reunite, per Deadline. Weatherly teased the possibility of a reunion for the duo on his Twitter account in response to a fan tweet. The actor was looking back at his 2022, and one fan mentioned wanting to see the duo back on screen together again.

Weatherly left NCIS on CBS in 2016 after 13 seasons. In the story, NCIS Senior Field Agent Tony DiNozzo learned that he had a daughter with his former partner, Special Agent Ziva David, who seemingly died in a mortar attack on her home in Israel. He left the NCIS team to discover what happened and to take care of his daughter. It was later revealed that Ziva had faked her death and de Pablo returned to NCIS for a time before departing again, in 2020. At last word, Tony, Ziva, and their daughter were living in Paris together.

In real life, Weatherly went on to star in the Bull courtroom drama for six seasons on CBS. That show came to a close in May of last year.

Check out Weatherly’s tweets below.

Starring Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, Katrina Law, Rocky Carroll, David McCallum, and Gary Cole, the series follows the special NCIS team. Episodes will return on Monday with a crossover event with NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawaii.
