“#Voice Actress Raising Smartphone Game CUE! Gets TV Anime”

A TV anime adaptation of Liber Entertainment's smartphone game CUE! is now in the works. The news was announced at the game's first anniversary event "CUE! 1st Anniversary Party 'See you everyday'" held at Culttz Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture on November 1. The anime's first key visual featuring its 16 main characters was also revealed (see above).

The game started its service for iOS and Android on October 25, 2019. In the "next generation voice actress raising game," the player trains 16 rookie voice actress at a small voice actor agency as their manager.

Shin Katagai (Re:Stage! Dream Days♪) serves as director, alongside series composition writer Tatsuhiko Urahata (High Score Girl, BAKI) and character designer Motohiro Taniguchi (YuruYuri Nachuyachumi!). Yumeta Company and Graphinica, which also worked on Re:Stage! Dream Days♪ together, work on anime production. No word yet on when it will begin airing on television.

Meanwhile, "Saikou no Mahou" (The Best Magic), the fourth single of the unit AiRBLUE formed by the game's 16 voice actresses is set to be released in Japan on January 6, 2021. The title song is written/composed by Ikimonogakari leader/guitarist Yoshiki Mizuno.
