#TYPE LUMINA Spotlights Kohaku and Her Broom In New Preview

The broom-wielding maid Kohaku is the star of MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA‘s latest gameplay preview.

Gameplay-wise, Kohaku is a “trickster-type fighter with a long reach that allows her to control the battle flow.” She also has “a lot of freedom” via her traps and attacks “that come in waves.” 

In terms of character, she is described as a “young girl who brightens the Tohno residence with her smile.”

The TYPE-MOON GAMES channel previously previewed Kohaku’s twin sister Hisui and her cleaning and cooking tools. Other released previews covered the Hisui and Kohaku tag team, Akiha Tohno, Ciel, Arcuied, Kouma Kishima, and Shiki Tohno.

Developed by French Bread, MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA is set to release on September 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. It is the latest entry in the Melty Blood fighting game series, which is based on TYPE-MOON’s Tsukihime visual novel. The new title is described as being based on the upcoming Tsukihime remake, Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-.

MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA‘s website says that the game will have over 10 characters, upgraded visuals and HD environments, and a completely rebuilt and more modern-feeling battle system.
