#Princess Connect! Re: Dive Splashes into Summer with Pecorine (Summer)!

Heyas, Knights! Summer is fast approaching and you know what it’s time for: the obligatory beach episode, of course! As things heat up on the Continent of Astraea, join us on a refreshing vacation with an eventful adventure on the beach.

 

 

We start off our update with a splash! As our heroines head down to the beach, you know you’re in for a treat. First up, our perpetually peckish heroine Pecorine will be changing into more fitting attire for the weather, in the form of a brand new character in Pecorine (Summer)! With her summer form also comes a new Union Burst, Princess Splash, which deals physical damage by quickly bringing the tide to your enemies. How crazy is that?

 

During her Focus Gacha, Pecorine (Summer) will have boosted rates and will also be available for redemption using Peco Peco points—err, character exchange points. It’s also important to note that Pecorine (Summer) will only be available for a limited time, while her Focus Gacha’s active – unlike previous characters, she won’t be added to the main Premium Gacha after it ends. Summer doesn’t last forever, after all, so be sure to not miss out on this seasonal opportunity! 

 

The Pecorine (Summer) Focus Gacha will run from 6/3 23:00 UTC to 6/22 22:59 UTC.

 

 

It wouldn’t be summer without a trip out to the beach. Join the Gourmet Guild, Suzume, and Saren as they travel out to the beach in the next story event, Dangerous Vacation! Gourmet Princess on the Beach. What could possibly go wrong? (A lot of things.)

 

Akin to previous events, this event features exclusive boss battles, where you can test your skills in varying difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. That’s right – if you’re looking for a new challenge, Very Hard will be available starting with this event, and can only be cleared once per day. You’ll need Boss Tickets to earn a shot at defeating the boss, which can be obtained by clearing event stages and from login bonuses while the event is active. If you don’t successfully defeat a boss on the first attempt, don’t sweat it – you can retry as many times as necessary, and non-lethal damage dealt to a boss will carry over between attempts.

 

As an added bonus, players will be able to obtain an exclusive free unit in Kokkoro (Summer) after beating the boss 5 times at any difficulty level. She’ll only be available during the event, so make sure you’re there for her!

 

The Victory Medal Gacha will also be making a return for this event! Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will earn you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for a lineup of rewards. There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a key reward – once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and move on to the next lineup or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards. Here are the key rewards you should look out for!

 

• Lineup 1: Saren’s Memory Shard x 20
• Lineup 2: Kokkoro (Summer)’s Memory Shard x 25
• Lineup 3: Saren’s Memory Shard x 30
• Lineup 4: Kokkoro (Summer)’s Memory Shard x 40

 

Just remember – once you’ve gone through the four initial lineups, you won’t be able to reset the active lineup until you’ve obtained all the possible rewards from the current active lineup.

 

The Dangerous Vacation! Gourmet Princess on the Beach story event will be available from 6/3 23:00 UTC to 6/22 22:59 UTC.

 

 

During the month of June, we’ll also be unlocking Area 13! The marsh flats of the Dorothea Wetlands is home to new monsters, new equipment, and is also where you’ll also be unlocking more of the main story as you wade through the swamp. The new items obtained from Area 13 will allow you to rank up your characters to 4 slots at Rank 10, and you’ll be able to start Chapter 7 of the main story, all the way up to Episode 8.

 

On top of the new stages, we’ll also be increasing the level cap from 98 to 102! Get a head start by stockpiling mana and experience potions – those skills won’t level up themselves!

 

The new area, increased level cap, and new story will be available after 6/12 at 13:00 UTC.

 

 

The combination of the summer heat, increased level cap, and other new content might take a toll on your mana reserves, leaving you thirsty for some more mana. Fret not – may your desires be heard, and may your throats be saturated, because we’re bringing back Dungeon Double Drops! All the mana you obtain during your Dungeon runs will be doubled in quantity – a great way to prepare for the new content. The Dungeon Double Drops Campaign will be around for 13 days, from 5/31 13:00 UTC to 6/12 12:59 UTC.

 

But mana alone does not a character make. What better way to complement the mana than with additional experience potions? Double drops will then make their way to the Grotto Quests! All drops obtained by clearing the EXP Quests and Mana Quests in the Grotto will be doubled in quantity. This is the perfect way to gather the mana and EXP Potions needed to further strengthen your characters! The Grotto Quests Double Drops Campaign will last for 12 days, from 6/12 13:00 UTC to 6/23 12:59 UTC.
