A fiery four-car crash in the Bronx late Monday night left two people dead and five others wounded, authorities said.

Police sources said the fatal wreck unfolded on the Bruckner Expressway when a speeding vehicle slammed into a utility pole shortly before midnight as it headed southbound on the expressway.

The collision sent the vehicle over the median and into northbound traffic, where it struck three other vehicles and burst into flames.

Cops responded to the scene near Country Club Road shortly after midnight, following a 911 call.

Chilling photos from the aftermath of the fatal wreck shows that one of the vehicles was reduced to a pile of charred metal, while the front end of a second car was entirely demolished.

The two others — still facing northbound — suffered less severe damage but all of the vehicles appear to have been burnt before firefighters doused the flames.

In addition to the two fatalities, three other victims were transported to Jacobi Hospital Medical Center and two to St. Barnabas Hospital, sources said.
