#Two massive pythons crash through kitchen ceiling in Australia

An Australian man was floored after two massive snakes — weighing a combined 100 pounds — crashed through his kitchen ceiling on Monday.

David Tait, who lives in Laceys Creek in Queensland, came home to find a giant chunk of ceiling lying on his kitchen table.

“I knew we hadn’t had rain, so I looked around to find what had caused it,” Tait told Nine Network television on Tuesday.

He soon found the suspects slinking away — a pair of non-venomous carpet pythons, 9 feet and 8 feet long, in the bedroom and living room.

Tait called in snake catcher Steven Brown, who said the two male pythons were likely warring with one another when the ceiling gave out.

“I would assume that it was two males fighting over a female that was nearby in the roof,” Brown said.

Brown posted pictures of the monstrous reptiles on Facebook.

The males were returned to the wild, though Brown suspects the female could still be in Tait’s ceiling or nearby.

Brown told the “Today” show in Australia that the snakes were “some of the biggest and fattest” he’d ever seen, the Evening Standard reported.

Tait was equally shocked at the sheer size of the snakes.

“We have a lot of bush around here so you do see snakes, but I’d never seen snakes of that size,” he said.
