#Tsuki To Laika To Nosferatu Debuts In October, Gets New Key Visual

The upcoming Tsuki To Laika To Nosferatu (The Moon, Laika, and Nosferatu) anime has received an October release window. A new key visual was released to accompany the announcement. 

The anime is based on a series of light novels by Keisuke Makino, with the story involving a space race between the Federal Republic of Zilnitra in the east and the United Kingdom of Arnarck in the west. As part of a secret plan called Nosferatu, which involves a vampire being sent to space as a preceding test flight for the east’s Miechita flight, substitute astronaut candidate Lev Lepes is ordered to observe and train experimental subject Irina Luminesque.

Tsuki To Laika To Nosferatu‘s staff includes Akitoshi Yokoyama (Cutie Honey Universe) as director, Makino as series composer, Hiromi Katō (ID-0) as character designer, Yūji Kaneko (Josee, the Tiger and the Fish) as art director, Aiko Matsuyama (D4DJ First Mix) as color designer, and Hideki Imaizumi (So I’m a Spider, So What?) as photography director. Arvo Animation is in charge of the animation production.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Megumi Hayashibara as Irina Luminesque, Kōki Uchiyama as Lev Lepes, Satoshi Hino as Mikhail Yashin, Mikako Komatsu as Rosa Plevitskaya, and Hina Kino as Anya Simonyan. 

A teaser trailer for the anime was released back in March.
