As reported, the HeartCatch Precure! team will join forces with the five members of the ongoing 18th series in the forthcoming feature film Eiga Tropical-Rouge! Precure Yuki no Princess to Kiseki no Yubiwa! (Tropical-Rouge! Precure The Movie: The Snow Princess and the Miracle Ring). As the seventh installment of the franchise, Heartcatch Precure! was aired for 49 episodes from February 2010 to January 2011.

The Precure franchise’s official YouTube channel has posed a 60-second new trailer featuring the return of two Precure girls from Heartcatch – Tsubomi Hanasaki / Cure Blossom (CV: Nana Mizuki) and Erika Kurumi / Cure Marine (Fumie Mizusawa).

Mizuki says, “A movie? Really? I was so surprised and excited! It’s been a few years since the annual PreCure All Stars film… After performing in the 15th anniversary film three years ago, I was hoping that the 20th anniversary would be next, and I never thought I’d get the chance to perform as Cure Blossom again! I’m so happy!” And Mizusawa adds, “I will work together with all the members of Tropical-Rouge! so that children who are seeing Heartcatch for the first time will be able to accept us naturally.”

In commemoration of the film’s release, Toei Animation Museum Channel will be streaming all 49 episodes (ten episodes per week) of the TV anime HeartCatch Precure! for free for a limited time from 21:00 on August 5 (JST).

Eiga Tropical-Rouge! Precure Yuki no Princess to Kiseki no Yubiwa! (Tropical-Rouge! Precure The Movie: The Snow Princess and the Miracle Ring) is set to be released in Japan on October 23, 2021.
