#Four dead in California helicopter crash, cause under investigation

Four people have died in a helicopter crash in Colusa County, California, according to law enforcement officials.

According to a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to Fox40 news, the Robinson R66 helicopter crashed around 1:15 p.m. local time in a remote area of Colusa County.

“The FAA will release the aircraft tail number when investigators verify it at the scene. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate,” the FAA stated.

The FAA said in the statement that neither the FAA nor the NTSB identify victims involved in aircraft accidents. 

The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
