Trick Daddy was a prominent rapper in the late ’90s/early 200os with Billboard Hot 100 hits such as “I’m A Thug” and “Let’s Go” featuring Twista and Lil Jon. But over the past two decades, his career has morphed into DUI arrests and social media fights with The Beyhive but not much music.

Now, the 46-year-old Floridian is in the middle of another controversy. On Monday (July 12), footage of Trick Daddy getting into a confrontation with a young woman outside of a Miami club started making the rounds online.

According to VladTV, witnesses at the scene said Trick became angry once the woman refused to hang out with him after he allegedly paid for her and her friends to get into the venue.

“You wanna go viral, touch me,” he’s heard saying in the clip. He then grabs the woman by the wrist and the woman snaps, “Who are you?”

The woman appears to take a swing at him and Trick Daddy swings back. That’s where the video ends.

Trick Daddy has yet to address the incident on Instagram or Twitter, but odds are he’s wary of social media after he was dragged to hell and back by The Beyhive. Last month, Trick Daddy participated in a Clubhouse room and was recorded sharing his unpopular opinion about Beyoncé and her husband JAY-Z.

“Beyoncé ain’t trying to give back to music and Beyoncé don’t write music,” he said. “Beyoncé can’t sing.” But Trick Daddy wasn’t done there and set his sights on Beyoncé’s husband JAY-Z, one of Hip Hop’s most respected pillars.

“Beyoncé is to R&B what JAY-Z is to New York,” he continued. “New York lost Biggie and they needed a hero,” suggesting the March 1997 death of The Notorious B.I.G. left such a void, JAY-Z was able to easily slide in and become a success.”

From there, The Beyhive flooded his mentions until he was trending on Twitter, left hundreds of bad reviews about his restaurant on Google until his rating dropped to 2.6 and attacked his Instagram account.

But Trick Daddy didn’t back down and threw fuel on the fire instead, writing in a since-deleted Instagram post that read simply, “BARBZ >,” meaning he thinks Nicki Minaj’s fanbase is superior to The Beyhive.
