“#Touhou Lost Word Mobile Game Launches Worldwide Pre-Registration”
Good Smile Company and NextNinja announced that it will launch Touhou Lost Word mobile game to fans worldwide in English. The pre-registration campaign is now accepting users, which recently surpass 10,000 users.
The English release date has yet to be announced but the game was released in Japan in April 2020.
Illustrations featuring Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame were revealed in celebration of the announcement.
Touhou Project, also simply known as Touhou, is a multi-media franchise that originated as a vertical shooting game. The medium expanded beyond its origins including other video games, fan-made comics, animated videos, and music.
The upcoming mobile game marks the second release between Good Smiles Company and NextNinja after Grand Summoners.
