#Tom Brady can play ‘another five years’: LeSean McCoy

Tom Brady said he’s coming back next year, but how about five more years?

LeSean McCoy believes it’s possible after spending the season watching the quarterback up close on the way to the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl 2021 win.

“He’s 43! He’s dialed in. He can play another five years,” the 32-year-old running back said Wednesday on the “Pat McAfee Show.”

“Just because, not only just the talent or the big arm and all that. It’s just like, he gets it. He gets it.”

Brady is already the oldest player to play in a Super Bowl, never mind win it. He broke his own record as the oldest quarterback to win it earlier this month, at 43, after winning it at 41 in 2019.

McCoy, who also won a Super Bowl last year with the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, said Brady was “so serious” during the regular season and then became “like the Terminator” during the playoffs.

After having to face Brady twice a year as a member of the Bills from 2015-18, McCoy raved about the seven-time champion’s attention to detail. But Brady’s leadership and work ethic also struck McCoy, who bought in after coming to Tampa Bay from the Chiefs.

“He’s the only player that I’ve ever been around that, when he speaks, when he talks, I believe him,” McCoy said. “He could tell me, ‘Shady, go walk on that water. You won’t drown.’ I’m going to be like, ‘OK.’ He has that type of thing about him. And the way he works. When I was younger, I wish I worked as hard as he does. We just won a Super Bowl and he’s back training, doing little things.”
