Live Nation/TicketMaster and SeatGeek were among several companies several companies that agreed to display their “all-in” prices more clearly at a White House meeting Thursday to discuss ticketing industry practices, The New York Post reports and Live Nation confirms in a press statement. The move comes after months of rhetoric from President Biden advocating for a crackdown on what he called “junk fees” in his February State of the Union Address. These fine-print add-ons have become commonplace in the industry, making it difficult for customers to compare prices and “sickening” The Cure’s Robert Johnson as much as they have the average Swifty.

Last month, Massachusetts lawmakers introduced anti-price gouging legislation informally dubbed the “Taylor Swift bill.” Live Nation, in particular, has come under increased scrutiny of late, facing multiple lawsuits and a Department of Justice anti-trust investigation into its 2009 merger with Ticketmaster.
