#Three arrested in 6ix9ine assault

Last week, Daniel Hernandez a.k.a. Tekashi 6ix9ine was assaulted and robbed at an L.A. fitness location in South Florida. On Thursday (March 30), the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of three men in connection with the crime. News of the arrests was first reported by TMZ.
The suspects are Rafael Medina, Jr., Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado. Video obtained by TMZ shows the suspects entering the gym after 6ix9ine and following him into the sauna where the incident took place. A video of the attack was shared online with the caption “we caught 6ix9ine slipping fuck a rat ADR not in our hood.” 6ix9ine was briefly hospitalized after the assault with injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
Arrested in 2018 on gun and racketeering charges and facing a 47-year prison sentence, 6ix9ine cooperated with the federal government with testimony against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. He spent less than a year in prison and served the remainder of his two-year sentence on house arrest.
