Following the conclusion of the 25th and final episode of the second season of the current Fruits Basket anime adaptation, it was announced that a third and final season of the series will be broadcast across Japanese TV networks such as TV TOKYO, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, among others in 2021, titled Fruits Basket The Final. Along with the announcement of the new season, it was also announced that the series of end card illustrations produced for each episode's TV airing have been collected and are currently being displayed on the anime's official site in a limited time virtual exhibition.
