From the end of April, ProSieben MAXX will be showing “Darling in the Franxx” on German television for the first time!

As the free TV broadcaster ProSieben MAXX announced today, the rights to “Darling in the Franxx” have been secured and the series will be broadcast as a TV premiere during Anime Night.

It starts on Friday, April 30th at 10:25 p.m. There are three episodes to be seen every week, starting around 10 p.m. after the anime film in prime time. The series is shown uncut with German dubbing. After the TV broadcast, the episodes are also available in the media library and on Joyn.

There won’t be much living space in the future … People live in fortresses with cities, forests and whatever else you need to live. A boy named Code: 016 (unofficially called Hiro) has lost the ability to synchronize in a Franxx. His fate and that of his previous partner seem sealed. Then he meets Zero Two, a girl with horns. She has been reassigned to Hiro’s plantation and she has a reputation for being a partner killer. Nobody survived more than three missions with her. She declares him to be her “darling” and wants to control the Franxx with him. Who is she, why does she have the characteristics of the monsters she fights and what is actually behind the dangerous attackers and the world order?
