#The Quintessential Quintuplets Sequel Is A Movie, Will Release in 2022

The Quintessential Quintuplets sequel that was announced in March has now been revealed to be a movie. The movie, which is currently simply labelled as Go-Toubun no Hanayome Eiga (The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie) is set to release in 2022.

A visual for the upcoming movie, which depicts the previously-revealed quintuplets and their wedding garb in a different arangement, was also released. The visual’s tagline roughly translates to, “We were looking at a dream – the dream of the dreamlike day when we met you.”

The second season of The Quintessential Quintuplets aired during the Winter 2021 season. The anime was directed by Kaori with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi. Bibury Animation Studio was in charge of the animation production. On the other hand, the first season, which aired in 2019, was directed by Satoshi Kuwabara and produced by Tezuka Productions. Both seasons are based on the manga by Negi Haruba, which ran from 2017 to 2020 with 14 volumes.
