#The Promised Neverland Season 2 New Preview Trailer Released

With The Promised Neverland Season 2 set for January 7, 2021, the sequel received a new anime preview trailer featuring new animation sequences.

Aniplex of America recently announced that Funimation and Hulu will stream The Promised Neverland Season 2 beginning January 7.

CloverWorks is returning to animate the series while many of the key staff will also reprise their roles. This includes Mamoru Kanbe as director, Toshiya Ono as series composer, Kazuaki Shimada as character designer, and Takahiro Obata as music composer.

The original manga writer Kaiu Shirai will also be joining as a series composer with Ono. The anime adaptation is based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Osuka Demizu. 

The Promised Neverland Season 2 was originally scheduled for October 2020 but was delayed due to COVID-19.

Aniplex of America describes the first season as: 

The one adored as the mother is not the real parent. The people living here together are not actual siblings. The Gracefield House is where orphaned children live. An irreplaceable home where 38 siblings and Mom live happy lives, even with no blood relations. However, their everyday life suddenly came to an abrupt end one day…
