You’re heard of life imitating art, but now art is imitating art, because My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, a series of romantic comedy fantasy light novels written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nami Hidaka about a young lady who reincarnates as the bad girl in her favorite romance video game, is being adapted into a romance video game with an original story by IDEA FACTORY’s Otomate division.

The game, whose title translates to My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! ~The Pirate Who Summons Trouble~, features an original story that is set after Catarina clears her “doom flags” and successfully passes the “Graduation Ceremony” event without being murdered or exiled. In the game, Catarina encounters new dangers in the form of Silva, a handsome pirate captain.

My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! ~The Pirate Who Summons Trouble~ is scheduled to be published in Japan in 2021.
