According to TMZ, three armed men approached three women standing by the curb, with one woman being pistol-whipped during the altercation.
Security saw the attempted robbery taking place and stepped in. Gunshots were exchanged between a guard and suspect but nobody was injured during the shootout. Damage was, however, done to surrounding parked cars.
Law enforcement sources relayed that the three unknown men then fled the scene in a vehicle. TMZ also added it’s still unclear if the suspects made off with any stolen items from the women. The victim who was pistol-whipped refused medical attention when an ambulance reportedly pulled up shortly after the incident.
Teyana Taylor made sure to get dressed up for the party as she and her husband Iman Shumpert sported Wayne’s World Wayne and Garth costumes. On Halloween night, Taylor also showed off her six-pack abs as Madam Slay.
While the Harlem native didn’t comment on the party on her Twitter account, she’s keeping the conversation focused on her upcoming final The Last Rose Pedal Tour before hanging up her mic for good and stepping away from music.
Taylor has also been added as a performer to the Day N Vegas Festival, with her nationwide trek kicking off on November 5 in San Francisco and runs through until the end of the month.
