Authorities are searching for two armed and dangerous Tennessee inmates who escaped from prison and have kidnapped and bound two victims while at large.

Robert Brown, 36, and Christopher Osteen, 34, fled the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville on Friday morning, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Later that day, the fugitives kidnapped a Fulton County Kentucky Highway Department employee from a boat ramp on the Mississippi River, the Henry County Sherriff’s Office in Tennessee said in a statement.

On Saturday, authorities found a Henry County resident who had been tied up in his home by the inmates.

The man’s red 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen and hasn’t been found, the sheriff’s office said.

Brown was in prison for aggravated rape and Osteen for burglary, authorities said.

They are both wanted for aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping and theft.
