#Technoroid Anime Gets Staff Details

The upcoming Technoroid anime, which is part of a mixed-media project, has received staff details.

Directing the show is Im Ga-Hee, who previously directed Sonny Boy‘s fourth episode. Other staff include Ai Yoshimura (Ao Haru Ride director) as supervisor, Ayumi Sekine (The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window) as series composer, illustrator LAM as original character designer.Saori Sakiguchi (number24) as character designer, Elements Garden×RUCCA as music composers, and LOGIC&MAGIC as the CG company. Doga Kobo was previously announced as the animation production company.

The names of the mixed-media project’s characters have also been released, following the earlier reveal of the voice actors involved. Technoroid will have Kazuki Ura as Cobalt, Satoi Shibuya as Chrom, Hiromu Mineta as Kei, kayto as Neon, Makoto Furukawa as Kite, Keigo Hagiya as Light, Gakuto Kajiwara as Night, Junya Enoki as Silve, Takeo Ootsuka as Auru, Akito Sugibayashi as Lana, and Shugo Nakamura as Zin.

Technoroid takes place in a climate change-affected setting, with human activity being limited as a result.  In the entertainment tower of Babel, live performance battles between units take place, with both humans and androids taking part. The units featured in Technoroid are KNoCC (Cobalt, Chrom, Kei, and Neon), STAND-ALONE (Kite, Light, and Night), and Mechanica Metallica (Silve, Auru, Lana, and Zin). 

Aside from the anime, the project will include a game from WonderPlanet (also due in 2022) and music. A project trailer previewing the songs, character looks, and cast info has been uploaded.

Technoroid is a collaboration between CyberAgent, Avex Pictures, and Elements Garden. It features an original concept by Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, and Elements Garden.
