An adaptation was revealed for Suzu Enoshima’s Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte fantasy novel series back in December, and now we have a bunch of new info on the TV anime. The series is officially set to kick off its broadcast in January 2023, and the news came through with the first promo, two versions of the key visual and five key cast members.

Yuichi Nakamura (Shigure Soma in Fruits Basket) as Siegwald Fitzenhagen

Kaito Ishikawa (Tobio Kageyama in Haikyu!!) as Aoto Endo

Kana Hanazawa (Kuroe in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) as Shihono Kobayashi

Miyu Tomita (Riko in Made in Abyss) as Fiene

J-Novel Club publishes the original novels in English and describes the story like so:

One day, Crown Prince Sieg hears the Voices of the Gods out of the blue. Apparently, his fiancée Lieselotte is a “tsun de rais” villainess destined to meet her demise…and her sharp tongue is just a way of covering up her embarrassment. The prince can hardly contain himself after discovering Lieselotte’s adorable hidden side. Little does he know, the heavenly beings that bestowed this knowledge unto him are actually high schoolers! Can he use their divine prophecy (let’s play commentary) to save his betrothed and avoid a Bad End?!
