#7 Gintama Soundtracks Now Available on Music Streaming Platforms

Milan Records has announced that it has released seven soundtracks from the comedy action-adventure anime Gintama for the first time outside of Japan. All seven albums feature music by Japanese composer AUDIO HIGHS and are available digitally on music streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

In addition to the five soundtracks from the original Gintama TV anime series, the two soundtracks from the franchise’s first two film adaptations are also available to stream.

Filtr Japan will also feature the seven Gintama soundtrack albums in its official “ANIME ADDICTION: BATTLE MODE!” playlist set to showcase the latest release. Beginning April 28, 2023, Gintama will take over the cover and lead tracks of the playlist for a full month. The playlist is now available on Spotify and Apple Music and can be found here.

The Gintama anime TV series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and the synopsis is described as:

It’s samurai vs. aliens in Shonen Jump’s wackiest adventure! The samurai didn’t stand a chance. First, the aliens invaded Japan. Next, they took all the jobs. And then they confiscated everyone’s swords. So what does a hotheaded former samurai like Gintoki “Gin” Sakata do to make ends meet? Take any odd job that comes his way, even if it means losing his dignity.
