#BEASTARS Creator Paru Itagaki Launches New Manga Serialization Next Week

Manga creator Paru Itagaki is going from the “carnivores and herbivores” in BEASTARS to “adults and children” in her newest manga series SANDA, which will start its weekly serialization in next week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Champion (out on July 21). Itagaki teased the series in a Twitter poster while the official BEASTARS Twitter account released the character illustrations of the main characters.

Itagaki’s wildly popular and critically acclaimed BEASTARS manga series ended last year with the second season of the TV anime now available on Netflix worldwide.
