More details about Detective Conan: The Scarlet Alibi disc release have surfaced!

As we reported a few months ago, the “Detective Conan” compilation movie “Das scharlachrote Alibi” will also be released on disc here in Germany. So far, it was only known that the 94-minute strip will be released this summer with German dubbing. Now are im KAZÉ-Shop more information about the release surfaced.

So there is the release date of July 21, 2022 specified. In addition, the DVD-Version if Digipack in slipcase appear while the Blu-ray version again just one Standard-Amaray gets donated. Details of possible extras are not yet known. You can see the cover designs below.

“Detective Conan: The Scarlet Alibi” is a compilation of anime episodes focusing on the past of the Akai family. It was shown in Japanese cinemas in February 2021 in preparation for the 24th movie. Since many scenes come from episodes that have not yet been released in Germany, some of these are being set to music by the German speakers for the first time.

But don’t worry, new episodes are also taken care of: As we were able to report exclusively in November 2021, the German “Detective Conan” episodes will continue on ProSieben MAXX in the second half of 2022.

FBI agent Shûichi Akai, who smuggled himself into the organization under the code name “Rye” in order to solve the mysterious disappearance of his father, is particularly in the spotlight. But after being shot in the head at Raiha Pass one night, he seems to return as a ghost. It also gets interesting for Conan when Shûichi’s sister Masumi appears on the scene, who is almost his equal and lives with a mysterious little girl named Mary. Her brother Shûkichi – a professional shôgi player with brilliant memory and reasoning skills – is also involved in some of Conan’s cases. Accompanying the 24th Conan movie, this special reminds you of the mysteries surrounding the Akai family!
