#SUNRISE BEYOND To Merge With BANDAI NAMCO Filmworks

SUNRISE BEYOND INC. has announced that it will be absorbed into parent company BANDAI NAMCO Filmworks on April 1. 

SUNRISE BEYOND was established in March 2019 to produce works based on BANDAI NAMCO Group IP. It took over the video production portion of anime studio XEBEC, which had been acquired by BANDAI NAMCO Filmworks (back when it was SUNRISE) in 2018 (XEBEC was later absorbed into Production IG in 2019). 

SUNRISE BEYOND produced Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE, Amaim Warrior at the Borderline, Gundam Build Metaverse, and the animated footage for Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans‘ Urdr-Hunt. The studio also co-produced two shows with OLM, 2020’s King’s Raid: Successors of the Will and 2023’s The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of the Rust Mountains.
