Sui Snacks on Fried Chicken in New Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2 Visual

A new teaser visual has been revealed for the upcoming second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, showcasing Sui the slime snacking on some fried chicken. The second season is scheduled to air in Japan in October 2025.   

Another teaser visual of Dora-chan the Pixie Dragon will be released later in the future. Previous visuals were released for the protagonist Mukoda and Fenrir Fel. 

Some staff reprising their roles from the first season include Kiyoshi Matsuda as director, Michiko Yokote as series screenwriter, Nao Ootsu and Tsuyoshi Kuwahara (Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather co-character designer) as character designer, Kenji Takahashi (previously Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 1 unit director, storyboard, and episode director) as assistant director, Kodai Kato (previously Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 1 production desk) as animation producer, and BAX as food supervisor. MAPPA is in charge of the animation production. 

Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The anime is based on the fantasy light novel series, written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Masa. It first began as a web novel on Shosetsuka in Naro in January 2016. The light novel series from Overlap also began in the same year and has released 15 volumes as of May 2025. It inspired a manga adaptation written by Akagishi K and the spinoff Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill: Sui’s Great Adventure written by Momo Futaba. 

J-Novel Club has published the light novels and manga in English digitally, while Yen Press releases the print version of the light novel and manga. 

Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, which aired in 2023 for 12 episodes. It describes the synopsis of the first season as: 

Mukoda Tsuyoshi, an ordinary salaryman, is suddenly transported to another world one day. The unique skill he gains upon arrival in this world is the seemingly useless “Online Grocery.” Mukoda is discouraged at first, but the modern foods he’s able to bring to his new world using this skill prove to have some unbelievable effects!
