The police force may soon be with this thief.

A Stormtrooper statue was stolen from the front of a Long Island store where it was on display last week, according to the owner and Suffolk County cops.

Surveillance from the Blast from the Past retro video game store on West Main Street shows two women walking off with the 3-foot Star Wars figure on April 1. It was stolen around 3:10 p.m. that day, police said.

“I was right around the corner getting gas when my manager informed me and said the Storm Trooper was stolen,” owner Richard McWilliams, 34, told the Post. “The guys who were inside couldn’t see it.”

The statue — worth between $300 and $400 — wasn’t even for sale at the shop, which had only been open since December, owner Richard McWilliams, 34, told the Post. It was simply an attraction outside, standing next to an R2D2 statue, he said.

“We had gotten a pretty high amount of requests if we would sell him or not, and we turned everyone down,” McWilliams said. “Being a new business, we’re trying to get people to stop in and check it out.”

By Friday, the statue was still missing and no arrests had been made — but McWilliams said police have been “really, really responsive.”

Meanwhile, the Facebook post about the theft gained traction quickly, he said.

“It was actually pretty insane just how much support how many shares the post got,” he said. “My sister-in-law shared the post and she got 600 shares. It’s kind of crazy how much it’s spread around very quickly.”
