The rumors are true. That’s something Thomas learns during the exclusive sneak peek of the Sticks and Stones premiere. Now he needs to decide what he’s going to do about it.

Sticks and Stones is a three-part drama heading to BritBox throughout June. Each week from June 9 there will be a new episode, delving into the world of workplace politics. It all starts with him freezing during a big presentation at work, one that was orchestrated to make him fail.

It turns out the company is downsizing. A lot of people will lose their jobs. The series couldn’t come at a better time considering the amount of companies that are facing closures and redundancies.

For Thomas, played by Ken Nwosu, he needs to figure out a way to prove that he’s a necessary cog in the wheel. Is he going to be able to do that when paranoia starts to get the best of him?

The clip picks up shortly after the disastrous presentation. It turns out that someone is out to get him, making it look like he’s incompetent as a way to save their own job. And Thomas needs to be better than that.

He gets some words of advice from one of his colleagues. She thinks he needs to go on the offensive and prove that he’s needed. If he gives into paranoia, he’ll start to prove that he’s useless and who wants a useless member of the team?
