Star Rail Special Animation Celebrates Its 2nd Anniversary

The HoYoverse RPG Honkai: Star Rail is celebrating its second anniversary this month, which is a good reason for the game to get another entertaining piece of animation. A special animation titled On the Journey has been released to mark the occasion, and it features a suitably celebratory air and a sense of journey, while also delighting with loose character animation and intricate sights.

“Behold the infinite possibilities of the vast cosmos. The silver rail has extended unto the stars…,” says the video description. “Now is the time to Trailblaze! May your journey be fruitful!”

Honkai: Star Rail first launched on April 26, 2023 for PC, iOS, and Android before getting a digital PS5 release in October 2023 (a physical PS5 release came in January 2025). The new special trailer’s existence was revealed on March 28, 2025 alongside various other second anniversary plans.

Google Play describes the game as:
