There’s something fishy going on in a new preview video for The Maid I Hired Recently is Mysterious (known in Japan as Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii), an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga by Wakame Konbu about a young master of a manor who is convinced that his newly hired assistant intends to bewitch and beguile him.

The preview video (below) features the official opening theme song for the series, entitled “Su, Suki Jyanai!” (“I-It’s Not Love!”), which is performed by the idol group ≠ME.

The Maid I Hired Recently is Mysterious TV anime features chief direction and series composition by Minato Mirai, direction by Misuzu Hoshino, and animation production by SILVER LINK. x BLADE. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:

Asahi Broadcasting Corporation / TV Asahi: every Saturday during the 26:00 time slot beginning on July 23, 2022. (as part of the “ANiMAZiNG!!” programming block)

AT-X: every Wednesday during the 20:30 time slot beginning on July 27, 2022.

BS12: every Friday during the 26:00 time slot beginning on July 29, 2022.

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early morning programming as late night programming for the previous day, so for example the 26:00 time slot on Saturday evening is actually on Sunday morning at 2:00am JST.
