The singer-songwriter will play dates in North America this fall with Soccer Mommy.
On June 25, Iowa-based singer-songwriter Squirrel Flower will share her new album Planet (i), the follow-up to her excellent 2020 album I Was Born Swimming. Today we get the project’s second single “I’ll Go Running,” right after the Songs You Need-playlisted lead track “Hurt A Fly.” Beneath its gothic, funereal tone, “I’ll Go Running” is a liberated song full of rich imagery that lingers long after its drawn pictures in your mind’s eye.
