Three major updates planned.
Thunder Lotus Games has announced plans to release three major updates for Spiritfarer, the “cozy management game about dying,” in the spring, summer, and fall.
“We’re tremendously happy with the praise Spiritfarer has received since launch,” said Spiritfarer creative director Nicolas Guerin in a press release. “It’s attracted a very passionate group of fans too, which is great because the team is excited to keep supporting the game with new content this year! I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank our fans for their crucial input as we explored various ideas for new Spiritfarer content. Your feedback definitely helped us zero in on the best path forward for the project!”
The full roadmap of updates is as follows:
- Spring 2021 Update: Lily
- New spirit
- More Stella story content
- Improve cooperative play
- Quality of life improvements
- Summer 2021 Update: Beverly
- New spirit
- New boat buildings, collectibles, and recipes
- Quality of life improvements
- Fall 2021 Update: Jackie and Daria
- Two new spirits
- New island
- New boat buildings and resources
- New event
Spiritfarer is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG, as well as Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console.
