#Slow Loop Anime Reveals Main Staff, New Visual, January 2022 Premiere Date

The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Maiko Uchino’s Slow Loop manga revealed a new teaser visual, the main staff, and January 2022 premiere date for the anime.

The anime’s staff includes Noriaki Akitaya (Bakuman, ORESUKI) as director, Yuka Yamada (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) as scriptwriter, and Shoko Takimoto (ORESUKI) as character designer and chief animation director. CONNECT is in charge of the animation production.

Slow Loop was first published as a one-shot manga in Manga Time Kirara Forward in April 2018. The manga then launched a full serialization in September 2018.

Anime News Network describes the manga’s story as:

The Slow Loop manga centers on Hiyori, a girl who enjoys fly fishing by the beach, an activity passed down to her by her late father. On one typical day at the beach, she happens to meet Koharu, who happens to be her new stepsister from her mother’s new marriage.
