# Skybound Games announces partnership on The Callisto Protocol

Skybound Games has announced a partnership with publisher Krafton and developer Striking Distance Studios to act as a strategic partner on the December 2020-announced The Callisto Protocol and bring its global marketing and distribution capabilities to the survival horror game.

Set in Black Iron Prison on Jupiter’s dead moon of Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol tasks players with surviving “unspeakable horrors” as they escape the prison and uncover the dark secrets of the mysterious United Jupiter Company. Developed by the team behind the Dead Space franchise, The Callisto Protocol aims to “raise the bar for immersive interactive storytelling.” It is planned for release on consoles and PC in 2022.
