#SINoALICE Releases Dorothy and New Act of Hatred Chapters

SINoALICE announced their newest character banner of “Dorothy” (VA: Rie Takahashi), featuring the Gunner class and the “Research Syringe” weapon. The global version of the game also released new story chapters in the “Act of Hatred” and began a social media campaign called “Spot the Oddity” that encourages players to interact on social media for in-game rewards.

Players can roll for the Dorothy/Gunner class through the “STEP Grimoire: Wizard of Oz” gacha banner. With every roll at subsequent stages, players have a chance to win an SR weapon and are guaranteed a spotlighted SR by the fifth step. The spotlighted SR weapons include harps, staffs, and swords but does not guarantee the Gunner class. “STEP Grimoire: Wizard of Oz” will begin from September 24, 2020 (7:00 UTC) and end on October 8, 2020 (5:59 UTC). 

The following chapters were added in the Act of Hatred:

• Dorothy: Chapters 1-4
• Little Mermaid: Chapters 3-4

Players can participate in the “Spot the Oddity” campaign by interacting on social media platforms that support the SINoALICE Global game. The total amount of interactions across all platforms will determine the number of in-game rewards for the players. Additionally, 10 users who react to the campaign will win a purification nightmare plush. Spot the Oddity will begin from September 25, 2020 (8:00 UTC) and end on October 6, 2020 (14:59 UTC).

The mobile game is described as: 

SINoALICE is a smartphone game developed in a joint effort by SQUARE ENIX and Pokelabo. It was originally released on 16 June 2017 in Japan. The global English version was released in July 2020 for both iOS and Android.

The title, an original dark fantasy tale, comes from the mind of creative director Yoko Taro, with music composed by Keiichi Okabe and MONACA. 

The Japanese release was awarded “Best of 2017” on Google Play and ranked first in both the Google Play and App Store free game charts.
