#Shocking video shows driver plow into Portland BLM protesters

A driver was arrested for plowing into a crowd at a George Floyd protest in Portland, Ore. — injuring three people Wednesday before returning in a failed attempt to hit more of them, according to reports.

Stunning video footage of the hit-and-run allegedly shows Anthony Eaglehorse-Lassandro, 27, rolling up to protesters near the city’s Justice Center around 1 a.m., then slamming into several of them when they don’t move out of his way, according to KOIN-TV.

One of the protesters is knocked to the ground as some demonstrators, who had gathered to protest the police killing of George Floyd, took off running after his car.

While fleeing, Eaglehorse-Lassandro zoomed the wrong way down a one-way street before returning to the area in an apparent attempt to hit more of the demonstrators, according to the station. It wasn’t immediately clear why his second attempt to hit protesters failed.

Three people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police told the station.

Several other drivers were following Eaglehorse-Lassandro through the crowd, but he was the only person arrested, police told KATU.

He was charged with felony hit and run, reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance.

Tuesday night marked the 19th straight day of protests in the Rose City.
