The official YouTube channel for anison singer TRUE has posted an eight-minute behind-the-scenes clip of the music video for her upcoming 16th single song "Storyteller" to show how she was filmed at a studio. In the beginning of the clip, she says, "It's not often that we get the chance to introduce this kind of the making processes, so I hope everyone enjoys this opportunity to see how I make a music video." According to this Vlog, the shooting was held from 10:00 am to 23:36 pm on September 16, 2020.

The CD single is set to be released in Japan on January 13, 2021, and this breezy rock tune will be featured as the OP theme for the highly-anticipated second season of the TV anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime to premiere in Japan one day before the release, January 12. She previously performed the first ED theme "Another colony" and the 23rd episode's insert song "Boku no Naka no Kimi he" (To The You Inside Me) for the anime's first season in 2018-2019.
