“#Say "Bye Bye Bacteria" with Cells at Work! Collaborative Sake”
With the finale of Akane Shimizu's manga today and the premiere of the second anime season this month, there are a lot of reasons to toast Cells at Work!. Sake brewer Aizu Homare is making that a cinch, with their collaboration Cells at Work! sake.
The brew is a high-grade Junmai Daiginjo sake specially dubbed "Baibaikin." While the three kanji translate to "worship," "sake cup," and "brocade," baibaikin also translates to "Bye bye, bacteria." So it's no wonder our good friend the White Blood Cell is the poster boy for this bottle.
The special brew arrives in a collectible wooden box. Altogther, the sake bottle and wooden box set cost 6,600 yen (about $64). It can be purchased exclusively from the Sake Tsunagi online web store. Orders are open starting today, and will begin shipping in late February.
