Sangatsu no Pantasia is a music unit centered around vocalist Mia, which fantasizes about stories of endings and beginnings. Several creators, including composers, illustrators, and novelists, have participated in the unit. They started their activities in 2015 and made their major debut from Ki/oon Music in the following year.

Since their debut, they have performed theme songs various anime series, including KIZNAIVER (2016), Interviews with Monster Girls (2017), Re:CREATORS (2017), Slow Start (2018), and As Miss Beelzebub Likes it (2018).

The title “101” is based on the theme of Rosa × centifolia, which is said to have 100 petals. The video conveys a strong will to jump into the 101st world, beyond the tremendous floral fortune-telling with multiple layers of petals, making it the coolest and most aggressive MV in the history of Sangatsu no Pantasia.
