#MTV takes “The Legend of Korra” into prime time

The series hit “The Legend of Korra”, produced by Studio Pierrot and others, will find its way into daily prime time on MTV from next week.

“Avater – The Lord of the Elements” was an unknown hit. The show premiered on NICK Germany in 2006 and quickly became a hit. In 2012 the spin-off “The Legend of Korra” was created, which takes place around 70 years after the events of the first series. Now the youth broadcaster MTV has decided to turn the anime series off Monday, March 1st, 2021 in the weekday program. The series consists of 52 episodes and was produced between 2012 and 2014 on behalf of Nickelodeon. The series is a mixed production by the Korean animation studio Studio Mir (seasons 1-3) and the Japanese studio Pierrot (seasons 4), the latter also being responsible for “Naruto”.
