#Rusted Armors Anime Gets January 2022 Release Date, Key Visual

The Rusted Armors anime is set to premiere in January 2022. A key visual for the anime was also released.

Rusted Armors, which also has the subtitle Reimei (which can mean “daybreak” or refer to the dawn of something, such as a new age) in its Japanese title, is part of a “reverse 2.5D project” that began in 2019. The mixed-media project currently includes a stage play and two manga volumes, with the play being up to its third part at present.

EXILE/FANTASTIC’s Taiki Sato and voice actor Toshiki Masuda, who play Magoichi and Oda Saburo Nobunaga respectively in the stage play, were previously revealed to be reprising their roles for the anime.

Rusted Armors is described as featuring an original story based on historical fact. It takes place in a time of war and revolves around two men who dream of unifying the country.
