#Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning Releases Full Trailer Featuring New Theme Song by ONE OK ROCK

The official website for the Rurouni Kenshin live-action film adaptation project has posted a 100-second main trailer for Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning featuring its theme song newly written by ONE OK ROCK. The title of the song has not yet been announced.

The four-member rock band has provided all theme song for the live-action film series since its first installment in 2012. The band’s vocalist Taka says, “Every time I watch ‘The Beginning,’ I think to myself, ‘Kenshin Himura could only have been played by Takeru (Sato). That’s why we wrote this song with the image of being there for him, like scooping up his emotions and delivering the song at the end,” and adds, “‘Rurouni Kenshin’ is a comrade that we have walked with. This is also true for Takeu and Kenshin, and the two are one set. It feels like, “Thank you so much…”
