#RomCom Anime Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Rabu Kome To Premiere April 14, Gets New Trailer

Upcoming romantic comedy anime Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Rabu Kome (The Love Comedy Where The Childhood Friend Absolutely Will Not Lose), or Osamake, has received a new trailer and key visual. It was revealed that the anime will premiere on April 14.

Additionally, it was announced that Takuma Terashima will join the cast as Mitsuru Abe, the boyfriend of the girl whom protagonist Sueharu Maru has a crush on.

The staff includes Takashi Naoya (Val x Love director) as director and character designer,  Yoriko Tomita (Happy-Go-Lucky Days scriptwriter) as series composer, and Atsushi Soga (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater chief animation director) as sub character designer. Doga Kobo is in charge of the animation production.  

Meanwhile, the cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Sueharu Maru, Inori Minase as Kuroha Shida, Ayane Sakura as Shirokusa Kachi, Saori Oonishi as Maria Momosaka, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Tetsuhiko Kai. 

The OsaMake light novels are written by Shuuichi Nimaru and illustrated by Shigureui. The first volume was published in 2019, and the fifth and latest volume was published in October 2020. A manga adaptation began in May 2020. 

The story follows Suehara Maru, who is in love with the school idol Shirokusa Kachi. When Suehara hears that Shirokusa has a boyfriend, he becomes dejected. This prompts Suehara’s childhood friend Kuroha, who seems to like him, to suggest that they take revenge.
