Hold on to your horses, racing fans, because a new preview video, a new key visual, and the Japanese TV schedule have all been revealed for Umamusume: Pretty Derby Season 2, an ongoing TV anime that re-imagines famous real world race horses as adorable anime girls.

Crunchyroll currently streams the first season of Umamusume: Pretty Derby and describes the story as follows:

This is a tale of a world where "horse girls"; with glorious names and incredible running abilities live alongside humanity. Horse girl Special Week has moved from the country to the city to attend Tracen Academy. There, she and her classmates compete to win the Twinkle Series and earn the title of "The County’s #1 Horse Girl."

A new key visual for the upcoming Umamusume: Pretty Derby Season 2 TV anime, featuring the main cast of characters reacting as Mejiro McQueen and Tokai Teio race along the track.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby Season 2 is directed by Kei Oikawa and features animation production by Studio KAI. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:

TOKYO MX: every Monday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on January 04, 2021.
BS11: every Monday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on January 04, 2021.
Kansai Telecasting Corporation: every Monday during the 26:10 time slot beginning on January 04, 2021. (initial broadcast only at 26:00)
Saga Television Station: every Wednesday during the 24:25 time slot beginning on January 13, 2021.
AT-X: every Monday during the 21:30 time slot beginning on January 11, 2021.

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 26:10 time slot on Monday evening is actually at 2:10am JST on Tuesday morning.
