#Quest of Memories Will Launch Worldwide on June 20

Bushiroad recently revealed that the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memoriess RPG will launch worldwide (sans China) on June 20, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam.

The publisher also released an English-subtitled version of the game’s second trailer. It includes a look at the turn-based combat, which seems to make use of a timeline mechanic for determining initiative, and the game’s first-person perspective during travel and battle sections.

In Mushoku Tensei: Quest of Memories, players can follow both the Dead End party and Roxy, Elinalise, and Talhand, revealing the latter trio’s adventures during their search for Paul Greyrat’s family. The Dead End content will include original scenarios in addition to anime events.

Not highlighted in the trailer is the management simulation minigame where players control Roxy as a restaurant staff.

The LANCARSE-developed game will cost 6,380 yen with tax included (~US$41.28) for all regular versions of the game, including physical console copies. The limited physical version, for consoles only, will cost 9,680 yen with tax factored in (~US$62.62).

The Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime is currently in its second season, which started its second cour this month and is streaming on Crunchyroll, Muse Asia, and Bilibili. The show is based on the isekai light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka, which is published under KADOKAWA’s MF Books label.

Seven Seas describes the series as:

Kicked out by his family and wandering the streets, an unemployed 34-year-old shut-in thinks he’s hit rock-bottom—just as he’s hit and killed by a speeding truck! Awakening to find himself reborn as an infant in a world of swords and sorcery, but with the memories of his first life intact, Rudeus Greyrat is determined not to repeat his past mistakes. He’s going to make the most of this reincarnation as he sets off on the adventure of a second lifetime!
